David "Moose" Mousseau worked in the motion picture industry for more than three decades as an accomplished sound engineer and cameraman. On Portrait of a Pioneer, he developed a special bond with Dr. Korsch, whom he greatly admired. Despite his failing health and chemotherapy treatments, he insisted on working on the production, always cheerful and interested in the telling of her story. We are all grateful for his dedication and perserverence during the last year of his life.
