In the August 1972 edition of Scientific American, Barbara Korsch’s article, entitled “Doctor-Patient Communication,” appeared. The magazine received a record response from readers.

Caroline Harding first met Barbara Korsch after being told about a “real dynamo” by USC’s publicity department.  The result was a Cover Story for Modern Maturity Magazine.  “The Good Doctor” followed Korsch through a day at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, where she initiated her groundbreaking studies more than five decades ago.

Barbara Korsch and Caroline Harding teamed up to write a book for Oxford University Press. The Intelligent patient’s Guide to the Doctor Patient Relationship chronicles Korsch’s investigations, and gives insights into the complexities of the communication process between doctors and patients.
